Wike: It’s Too Premature For Uzodinma To Term Gulag’s Death A Political Assassination

By John Imade (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has reprimanded his Imo State counterpart, Hope Uzodinma, of prematurely terming the death of APC chieftain, Ahmed Gulak, a political assassination.

This comes in the wake of a statewide broadcast on Monday, by Governor Uzodinma, in which he termed the killing of the one-time aide to former President Goodluck Jonathsn, as clear case of political assassination.

Wike was speaking while appearing as a guest on Channels Television’s Politics Today, were he said that the Imo Governor should have waited for the security agencies to make known their findings on Gulag’s death before jumping to conclusions.

Gunmen on Sunday attacked and killed a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Ahmed Gulak around Umueze Obiangwu in Ngor-Okpala Local Government Area close to the Sam Mbakwe Airport road in Owerri, Imo State.
