Minister Mandates Dala Inland Dry Port Project Contractor To Establish Primary School As CSR

=== (AGENDAWATCHDOG) === The Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has urged the contractors of the Dala Inland Dry Port project to establish a primary school as a form of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

Amaechi made the call during the inspection of the Port, lamenting the number of out-of-school children in the area which he said constituted a grave security challenge if not addressed.

“Meanwhile, we saw an army of children chasing us as we were coming and I said this is a huge challenge on our education. Whether we like it or not, if we don’t educate them, they will educate us and when they educate us we will run into our houses. So we better educate them,” Amaechi said during his visit to the Palace of the Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero.
