Edojobs, GIZ SKYE, Jobberman, Others Collaborate To Check Joblessness In Edo


=== (AGENDAWATCHDOG) === The Edo State Skills Development Agency (EdoJobs) in partnership with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ)’s Skills Development for Youth Employment (SKYE) programme has hosted experts to coach job seekers on how to surmount the hurdles of the labour market in the world of remote work.

The summit was held virtually and featured opportunities for job seekers to engage with recruiters with a chance of landing employment during the event.

The Chief Executive Officer, Temploy Nigeria, Junyin Benson, noted that it was necessary for job seekers to identify temporary employment opportunities in the era of remote work, so as to develop relevant skills, gain experience and contribute to economic growth in the state.

Head, Youth Engagement and Learning, Jobberman, Nigeria, Mrs. Precious Ajoonu reiterated the imperative of having standard curriculum vitae to scale the hurdles of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), noting that such would help them in landing decent jobs.
