Manny Pacquiao To Make Ring Return In Showdown With Welterweight King Errol Spence Jr in Las Vegas


By Vanessa Ekpereka (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – Manny Pacquiao has announced his return to boxing after a two-year absence as the legend confirmed an August showdown with Errol Spence Jr.

The 42-year-old, who last fought in July 2019 when he inflicted a career defeat on Keith Thurman to win the WBA welterweight world title, will make his return on August 21.
The Filipino announced on Twitter that he will square off against against the unified welterweight champion in Las Vegas.

Regarded as one of Boxing’s greatest ever stars, Pacquiao has won world titles in eight weight divisions over the course of his decorated 26-year career.

Pacquiao stated earlier this month that he would announce his retirement when his next fight is announced, but so far only the fight has been confirmed.

It was reported that Pacquiao was set to face Mikey Garcia, but Spence has now been confirmed as his opponent.
