By Vanessa Ekpereka (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – Tyson Fury’s trilogy fight with Deontay Wilder is fixed for July 24 and his ensuing multi-million blockbuster with Anthony Joshua now depends on both successfully defending their world heavyweight titles this summer.
Bob Arum, the Gypsy King’s US promoter, has confirmed: ‘Fury v Wilder is definitely on here in Vegas at the Allegiant Stadium. No question.
‘The lawyers are working on the contracts as we speak and the official announcement will come very shortly.
‘There is no chance of Wilder taking step aside compensation. Not even at ridiculously over inflated sums like the $20million (£14m) which has been speculated.’
Of the legal judgement which has prevented Fury and Joshua finally fighting in Saudi Arabia in August for the undisputed world heavyweight title, Arum says: ‘Tyson’s not happy but he’s a real fighting man.
‘He vows to knock out Wilder even quicker than he did last time.’
