Jonathan: Positions Attained By Divine Providence Should Be Used For The Common Good

By John Imade (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – Former President Goodluck Jonathan waxed lyrical in Benin City the Edo State capital on Sunday, saying temporary political office should be used for the common good and not to oppress the people.

Jonathan made this statement while making his remarks at the 50th birthday celebration of Charles Osazuwa, the President of the Rock of Ages Christian Assembly.

Speaking further, Jonathan said that leaders should always strive to be remembered by their legacies while in office, adding that his conviction that his ambition was not worth the blood of any Nigerian informed most of the decisions he took during his tenure.

He lauded Pastor Osazuwa for the impact he had made in the lives of many across the globe via his ministry, business and other concerns.
