Gov Obaseki: South-South Can’t Be Developed With The Current NDDC Structure

By John Imade (AGENDAWATCHDOG) Edo State’s Governor, Godwin Obaseki, has restated the call for the reformation of the Niger Delta Development Commission in order for the agency to achieve its core mandate of developing the South-South region.

The governor, while making the call at the Government House, Benin City, during a meeting with the South-South Zone Working Committee of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), harped on the need for the South-South region to work towards becoming economically and political independent, pointing out that there were saboteurs in the region exploiting the region.
