By Vanessa Ekpereka (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – Fighting fans will have to stump up $50 to watch Floyd Mayweather fight Logan Paul in their exhibition clash on June 6
The boxing legend’s fight with YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul, which will take place at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida, will be shown on online pay-per-view through Fanmio.
Showtime, who are set to host the fight in the US, have not yet announced their PPV price but Fanmio confirmed they will be charging $49.99 (£36) for worldwide viewers.
Mayweather’s promotional team described the fight as a ‘historic crossover event’ as the YouTube boxing phenomenon continues to take over the sport in a Tweet earlier this week.
The undefeated great has not stepped in a ring since defeating kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa in just over two minutes on New Year’s Eve 2018.
His fight with Paul is the third time that Mayweather has been involved in a crossover event in recent years, having also fought UFC icon Conor McGregor in a £215million fight back in August 2017, which he won via a 10th-round stoppage.
It has not yet been confirmed who will be fighting on the undercard of Mayweather’s showdown with Paul, but reports claim Jean Pascal’s rematch with Badou Jack for the WBA ‘regular’ light-heavyweight belt will feature on it.
