By Vanessa Ekpereka (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – Tommy Fury has publicly called out YouTube star turned boxer Jake Paul and insisted they face off inside the ring to ‘give the people what they want.’
Fury, brother of heavyweight world champion Tyson, took to social media in the immediate aftermath of Paul’s shock knockout victory over Ben Askren in Atlanta on Saturday night.
Paul stunned the boxing world by sending former UFC star Askren crashing down to the canvas after just 60-seconds with a brutal right hook, causing the referee to immediately call time on the bout.
Paul is now unbeaten since obtaining his professional license, winning three fights from three.
Fury however would be the first conventional boxer for Paul to take on, given his previous fight have been against fellow YouTuber AnEson gib, former NBA star Nate Robinson and retired MMA man Askren.
Following Paul’s overwhelming performance Fury directly tweeted the 24-year-old, three years his senior, stating: ‘I’m ready to give the people what they want.’
