Okowa Reiterates Commitment To The Take-Off Of New Universities

By Olivia Isibor (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – Governor Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa of Delta State, has assured that the state government was fully prepared for the eventual take-off of the three newly created universities in the state.


The governor gave the assurance during a media parley shortly after being conducted round different facilities at the University of Delta, Agbor, by the Provost of the College of Education, Agbor, Dr. Joseph Ukadike.


Governor Okowa further stated that the three new universities have facilities needed for the commencement of academic activities this year and expressed optimism that each of the universities will help with the development of the state and its people.


Recall that Governor Ifeanyi Okowa had earlier in the year assented to three Bills for the establishment of the University of Delta, Agbor; Dennis Osadebay University, Anwai and University of Science and Technology, Ozoro.
