COAS: I’m Committed To Turning Nigerian Army Into An Efficient Fighting Machine

By John Imade (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Ibrahim Attahiru, has expressed his commitment to transforming the Nigerian Army into an efficient fighting force able to deter and contain threats to the security and safety of the country and its citizens.

Attahiru said this at the opening ceremony of the combined COAS First Quarter Conference and Nigerian Army Operations Retreat 2021 held at Army Headquarters Command Officers Mess 1, Abuja.

The COAS promised that despite assuming office during a period of mounting security challenges in the country, the Nigerian Army under his stewardship, will continue to decisively deal with all security challenges currently confronting the nation in line with the directives of President Muhammadu Buhari.
