COVID-19 BRIEFS: NCDC Confirms 101 Fresh Cases, Taking Total Caseload To 162, 489


(AGENDAWATCHDOG) – 101 new cases of COVID-19 infections have been confirmed by the Nigeria Centre For Disease Control, NCDC, in its latest update on the pandemic In Nigeria released on Saturday.

Breakdown of the new cases of COVID-19 infections across the affected states in Nigeria, including Abuja, the FCT, is as follows: Lagos-32, Abia-16, Ebonyi-14, FCT-10, Bayelsa-6, Rivers-6, Bauchi-5, Jigawa-4, Oyo-3, Akwa Ibom-3, and Osun-2.

Out of the 162,489 confirmed cases of COVID-19 infections in Nigeria, 150,205 have been successfully treated and discharged, while 2,041 fatalities have been recorded so far, according to the NCDC.
