#Insecurity: Nigerian Leaders Are Fiddling While The Country Burns – Sowunmi

By John Imade (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – One of the spokespersons of the former ruling party, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) during the 2019 polls, Segun Sowunmi, has accused Nigerian leaders of handling the security threats in the country with levity.

Sowumi made his allegations on Wednesday on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily, where he berated the country’s incumbent leadership for having not leaved up to the expectations of Nigerians, especially as it concerns the security of lives and property, accusing them of holidaying while the country burns.

“Insecurity on one part, have you ever seen this country this divided? For some reason you are just hearing noises of O secession!, O we want to go!

“Everybody is doing whatever they like, say whatever they want to say, and those with the responsibility to say enough, you are not going to be allowed to implode this country, you are not going to be allowed to destabilize this country, are on holiday, receiving guest and shaking hands with people that are running from pillar to post claiming that they are running parties,”  Sowumi said.
