COVID-19 BRIEFS: NCDC Confirms 131 New Cases, Taking Total Caseload To 161, 868

(AGENDAWATCHDOG) – 131 new cases of COVID-19 infections were recently confirmed in Nigeria by the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, taking total confirmed cases of the virus in the country since its outbreak to 161, 868.

Breakdown of the new cases of the virus across affected states are as follows:  Lagos-64 Rivers-12 Kaduna-11 Plateau-9 Jigawa-8 Bayelsa-6 Ondo-5 Ebonyi-4 FCT-4 Osun-4 Borno-1 Kano-1 Ogun-1 Oyo-1.

Out of the 161,868 total confirmed cases of the virus in the country, 148,125 have been discharged, while 2030 fatalities have been recorded according to the NCDC.
