Governor Obiano Warns Criminals In Anambra To Beware, Bans Use Of Tinted Glasses, Touting In Anambra


By Nkoli Opara (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – Anambra State Governor, Willie Obiano, has warned criminals in the state to desist from their evil acts, consequent to series of recent attacks on police and naval installations in the state.

The governor’s warning was contained in a statewide broadcast on Sunday in Akwa, in which he said that the security agencies in the state have been ordered to resist such attacks in the future, adding that any attack on security operatives in the state was an attack on the entirety of the people and, calling on the security agencies, vigilante services, and all task forces in the state to rise in the defence of the state.

Furthermore, Governor Obiano, as part of efforts to check the new face of security challenges in the state, pronounced a ban on the use of tinted glasses on vehicles, as well as covered plate numbers on all roads within Anambra, adding that the security agencies would be conducting special and strategic operations aimed at neutralising the emerging threats to the collective safety of the people.
