Lagos Senator To Establish Endowment Fund For The Poor, Vulnerable

By Franca Joseph (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – Plans are in the pipeline, according to Sen. Adetokunbo Abiru, (APC-Lagos East) to launch an endowment fund for indigent but brilliant students, the aged, the youth and the vulnerable, including persons with special needs in his constituency in the first quarter of 2021.

The Senator, who disclosed this in his 2021 New Year Message on Friday in Lagos assured his constituents of his commitment to complementing the efforts of the Federal and Lagos State Governments in skill acquisition and capacity development.

He wished his constituents a happy New Year, while acknowledging that 2020 came with a lot of challenges for the country, citing the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic with its concomitant economic disruptions.
