Gov Okowa Charges NDDC To Improve Quality, Lifespan Of Its Road Projects

By Nkoli Opara (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – Governor Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa of Delta State, has charged the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) to focus on its Bill of Quantitatities ( BOQ) to ensure that its road projects stand the test of time.

The governor threw the challenge to the NDDC during a grand reception in honour of Justice Samuel Chukwudumebi Oseji on his promotion as Justice of the Supreme Court.

In the governor’s words, “Most roads that are constructed by the NDDC do not last much because appropriate bill of quantities are not done before embarking on these projects. We must ensure this is fixed going forward”.
