COVID-19: Nigeria’s Women Affairs Minister Tests Positive


By Olivia Isibor (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – Nigeria’s Minister of Women Affairs, Pauline Tallen, has tested positive for the coronavirus disease, following a routine test conducted on her and members of her family.

This was disclosed via a statement personally signed by Tallen on Saturday, in which she said she was asymptomatic, but had been advised to go for the test which returned positive.

While confirming that members of her family were negative, the minister said she has gone into isolation and is receiving treatment.
