#Insecurity: What ACF Said About Advising Buhari’s Government

By Franca Joseph (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – The Arewa Consultative Forum, ACF, says it’s tired of advising the President Muhammadu Buhari-led government on how to curb the state of insecurity in the country, accusing the government of rebuffing all its initial suggestions.

This was disclosed by the National Publicity Secretary of the forum, Emmanuel Yawe, during a media chat, after a meeting of its Board of Trustees (BOT) on Tuesday.

According to Yawe, the President Muhammadu Buhari-led government had consistently refused to adopt the proactive measures suggested by the group as panaceas to the security situation in the country, preferring stopgap approaches that have lead to the unfolding worst cases scenarios.

Harping on the need for government at all levels to create employment on a massive scale for the youths, Yawe assured that this would go a long way to reduce crime rate and check rising insecurity across the country.
