Aregbesola Pays Surprise Visit To Venue Of Computer-Based Aptitude Test for Recruitment into the NIS

By Olivia Isibor (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – As part of efforts to ensure transparency in the recruitment process of the Nigerian Immigration Services (NIS), the Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, in continuation of his stakeholders engagement activities in Osun state, paid an unscheduled inspection visit to assess the on-going Computer-Based Aptitude Test exercise for recruitment into the agency.

Speaking at the venue of the exercise, which is held at the JAMB CBT Centre in Hollaram Educational Centre, Akure, Ondo State, Aregbesola stated that the President Muhammadu Buhari-led Administration was determined to ensuring transparency in the recruitment of the services under the Ministry of Interior, saying, “with the introduction of the computer-based aptitude test innovation, the era of stampede and pandemonium during recruitment exercises has been completely wiped out.”

Aregbesola further stated that “there is now an assurance of confidence, credibility, equity and integrity in the process on the part of both the examiners and applicants.”
