Monitoring & Evaluation Framework For Accountability And Transparency In Humanitarian Activities Validated By Agencies And Partners


By John Imade (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – The Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development recently concluded a Monitoring and Evaluation Workshop and Orientation on its Interventions, Inventory and Logistics Dashboard for its Agencies and Partners.

The workshop was hosted at the Nigerian Army Resource Centre, and was targeted at reviewing and validating the draft Monitoring and Evaluation Framework for the Ministry, which will help to ensure that systems are in place for accountability and transparency in all activities of the Ministry, its Agencies, Programmes, and Partners.

Mr Raphael Oraeluno, the Director Planning Research and Statistics, speaking at the workshop said that the objective of the program was to ensure transparency in the activities of the agencies, programmes and partners of the ministry which requires reliable data in the development of the Monitoring and Evaluation system.
