Nasarawa APC Chairman’s Assailant Arrested – Governor Sule


By Franca Joseph (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – The assailant of the Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Nasarawa State, Phillips Shekwo, has been arrested, according to Governor Sule.

The governor, who made this known this known on Tuesday, while delivering a speech in Lafia, the state capital,  identified the killer as Muhammad Usman, a notorious kidnapper who owned up to the crime, lauding the security operatives for the prompt arrest of the suspect.

Sule further disclosed that Usman was arrested at Assakio village of Lafia east development area of the state.

Phillips Shekwo, the APC chairman was abducted from his house at Bukan Sidi in Lafia, on November 21 by gunmen, who murdered him and dumped his remains a few kilometres from his house. He was laid to rest in his hometown Yelwa of Toto local government area on November 27
