Assistant Commissioner Of Police Killed By Gunmen In Calabar

By Olivia Isibor (AGENDAWATCHDOG) –  An Assistant Commissioner of Police, Mr Egbe Edum, of the Cross rivers State Command, has been reportedly killed by gunmen in Calabar.

This was disclosed by the spokesman of the Command, Irene Ugbe, while speaking with Channels Television.

According to Ugbe, the ACP, who came to Calabar to see his family having been away for a long time was attacked while waiting for his wife to pick him up after his car broke down along the Murtala Mohammed Highway in Calabar.

Before his violent death, Edum was the Borno State Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP).
