Insecurity: Group Calls On President Buhari To Vacate Office

By Amaechi Idumuebor (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – Adeyanju, co-convener of Concerned Nigerians Group, has called on President Muhammdu Buhari to vacate office or be impeached, following the  increasing cases of kidnapping on the Kaduna-Abuja road.

Adeyanju, who made the call via his verified Twitter handle, alleged that approximately 100 people were kidnapped along the Kaduna-Abuja route on some occasions.

His tweet read: “The number of people abducted on Kaduna road alone is enough to make a president resign or be impeached.

“Several sources say sometimes over 100 people are abducted on that road and the issues go unreported.”

The rising cases of kidnapping and other acts of brigandage have worsened the already alarming state of insecurity in the country’s North, with Boko Haram insurgents, armed bandits and other criminal elements terrorizing  parts of the region.
