War On Corruption: Buhari Says There Are No Sacred Cows

By Franca Joseph (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – President Muhammadu Buhari has reaffirmed his administration’s unalloyed resolve to completely obviate the ghost of corruption from Nigeria, as there were no sacred cows under his stewardship.

According to Buhari, that it took the establishment of a panel to probe the affairs of an anti-corruption body such as the EFCC, was an indication of the deep-rooted degree of the menace in the society.

The president stated this on Friday, when the panel established to probe allegations of corruption in the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) under the stewardship of its suspended acting chairman, Ibrahim Magu, submitted its recommendations to him.

The Ayo Salami-led panel submitted the reports contained in 4 boxes to President Muhammadu Buhari in the council chambers of the presidential villa, following over three months of probe.
