#EndSARS: CNN Report Is Biased, Military Did Not Fire Live Rounds At Protesters – Lai Mohammed

By Lucky Uwakina (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, has slammed an investigative by the Cable News Network (CNN) on the incident at the Lekki Tollgate on October 2020, describing it as biased and largely made up.

Juxtaposing the CNN report with that of the British Broadcasting Cooperation (BBC), which carried out a research into the same issue, Mohammed said the latter’s report was more objective and valid, calling for the sanctioning of the CNN on the grounds of misinformation and unprofessional reporting.

Mohammed also carpeted the CNN report for lacking balance as it ignored the lootings, burning of 269 private facilities and the destruction of  243 government  facilities.

The minister called on individuals with proof of massacres, families and relatives of those allegedly shot to report at the judicial panel to lodge official complaints.
