Shekau To Nigerian Army: ‘I’m A Soldier Of God, Can’t Be arrested’

By Amaechi Idumuebor (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – Refractory leader of Islamist terror group, Boko Haram, Abubakar Shekau, has boasted that he can’t be apprehended by Nigerian security forces because he was a soldier of God.

Shekau, who said this via a 30 minutes video, while reacting to reports that Nigerian military forces had launched a manhunt for him and his followers, added that the insurgency against the Nigerian state would continue after him.

In His words, “Nobody can apprehend me because I’m doing God’s work. He will protect me like those doing similar work and seeking His protection.

“I’m very sure God will protect my commanders,” he said.

This came as the Nigerian Army launched a fresh manhunt for Shekau and 86 top linchpins of his extremist sect.
