By Lucky Uwakna (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – Osarodion Ogie, the Secretary to the Edo State Government, has retained his position, following his reappointment by Governor Godwin Obaseki.
Ogie’s reappointment was announced on Saturday via Governor Obaseki’s verified Twitter handle.

The governor, however, noted that Ogie’s appointment was the only one for the time being as other cabinet appointments would have to wait till February 2021.
“This is the only political appointment to be made for now. All other appointments are deferred to the first week of February 2021. All other appointments are deferred to the first week of February 2021,” he added.
Before his first appointment as SSG in 2016, Ogie served under the administration of Governor Obaseki’s predecessor, Adams Oshiomhole, as a Commissioner for Works, and most recently, as the Director-General of Obaseki’s campaign organisation.
