55 Nigerian Soldiers Redeployed From Battlefield After Five Years

By Olivia Isibor (AGENDAWATCHDOG) –  55 Troops of the 192 Battalion of the Nigerian Army have been redeployed from the theatre of war where they had been serving in the Operation Lafiya Dole for five years.

Among the combatants redeployed on Monday, some had been involved in the war against insurgency in the country’s volatile north-east region.

At the low-key de-induction ceremony that was organized in their honour at the Headquarters of the 7 Division in Maimalari Barracks in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, the combatants where seen heaving sighs of relief.
