Avoid Acts That Might Compromise The Security Of Our Dear State, Sanwo-Olu Admonishes Lagosians

By Olivia Isibor (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – The Lagos State Government has, via a communiqué released on Friday, called on residents of the state to avoid any negative behavior that might compromise the peace and security of the state, which was still reeling from the carnage wrought by hoodlums who acted in the guise of #EndSARS protesters.

“Even as we are still counting our painful losses in lives and property, there are hints of a new protest. The police have warned that no protest will be tolerated.

“Any protest under any guise will be disrespectful to the memory of those who died in the violence and unfair to ordinary Lagosians, who have remained peaceful, despite the hardship that the original protests sparked”.

He called on the youths of the state to ignore any call for protests and work with the government to find practical solutions to the issues thrown up by the actions taken in recent weeks, charging Parents and guardians to also  protect their children /wards from being used as “tools of destruction by enemies of our society”, advising anybody with grievances against the disbanded SARS to approach the Judicial Panel of Inquiry and Restitution.
