By Olivia Isibor (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – Civil Rights Activist and Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Mr. Femi Falana, says family members of the victims of the shooting incident at Lekki toll gate during the #EndSARS protests are afraid to speak out due to the negative peculiarities of the Nigerian “environment”.

Falana disclosed this yesterday, during a virtual #EndSARS meeting organised by the publisher of Sahara Reporters, Mr. Omoyele Sowore, where the revered legal luminary said that the military was “known for lies and deception”.

While recalling the manner the Nigerian Army “covered up” the reported killing of 347 Shi’ites in Zaria, Kaduna State, in 2015, the legal icon insisted that justice must be served the families of the victims of Lekki shooting.
