1-.The Bauchi State chapter of the Inter Party Advisory Council (IPAC) on Wednesday condemned the results of the local government council elections held in the state on Saturday, 17th October, 2020. It called on the SIEC to annul the elections, declare the seats of the sworn in chairmen and councillors vacant and conduct of fresh council elections, in which all political parties will be given a level playing ground and allow for a sound democratic process.

2-.A group of Fulani elders, under the aegis of Concerned Fulbe Forum, has criticized Bello Bodejo, leader of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore for accusing Bola Tinubu, National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, of sponsoring the End SARS protest.The elders questioned the state of mind and leadership credential of Bodejo in aspiring to lead Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore.

3-.The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, on Wednesday, linked the shooting at the lekki toll gate in Lagos State to Bola Tinubu, National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC. IPOB alleged that Tinubu “aided and abated” the killings of End SARS protesters by gunmen believed to be soldiers at the Lekki toll gate.

4-.Olusegun Obasanjo, former President of Nigeria, has warned President Muhammadu Buhari against the use of military force on End SARS protesters across the country. The former also called on the protesting young Nigerians to give peace a chance.

5-The Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, has issued a 48-hour ultimatum to inmates who escaped from the Medium Security Correctional Centres on Sapele Road and Oko, Airport Road, to return to the prisons.Some hoodlums had hijacked the #EndSARS protests and attacked the two prisons and freed about 2,000 inmates.

6-.Nigerian rapper, Ice Prince has called on mothers and women in the country to march naked and protest the killing of youths in the society.The call is coming in the wake of the reported shooting of protesters at the Lekki Tollgate and other places in Lagos

7-.Antoine Griezmann and Philippe Coutinho are in talks with Barcelona over new contracts, that will see them get pay cuts, ESPN reports. It is understood this is a part of short-term cost-cutting measures at Camp Nou.

8-.Former Real Madrid midfielder, Guti, has urged the club manager, Zinedine Zidane, to sign Paris Saint-Germain stars, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe. Guti said this following Real Madrid’s Champions League 3-2 loss to Shakhtar Donetsk on Wednesday.

9-. Music superstar, Ayo Balogun, also known as Wizkid, has called for the resignation of President Muhammadu Buhari, Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo and the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Mohammad Adamu over their inability to handle the situation across the country as End SARS protests continue to spread across Nigeria. Wizkid reacting to the ongoing chaos in the country in a tweet via his Twitter handle on Wednesday said Buhari has failed in his duty as the president of the country, adding that he should step down, including Osinbajo and Adamu.

10-.Assistant Inspector General of Police (rtd), Dr. Charles Ugomuoh has called on the Federal government to fully implementation the five point demands of the End SARS protesters.Speaking in Abuja, the ex-Police boss, who is the Chairman, Board of Trustees of CUG Foundation, a non-governmental organisation, said the demand by the End SARS protesters calls for serious government attention.
