(AGENDAWATCHDOG) – Following briefing by the country’s service chiefs on the state of unease in the country, President Muhammadu Buhari will address the nation on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at 7pm.

This was disclosed by the president’s Special Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmed, via atweet on Thursday.

The tweet read, “Following detailed briefing by security chiefs on the current situation in the country, President @MBuhari will make a national broadcast, today, October 22, 2020 at 7pm.”

“Television, radio and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Radio Nigeria respectively as President @MBuhari addresses the Nation later this evening, at 7pm.”

The President had earlier ordered law enforcement agencies in the country to restore order in troubled spots across the country during the Security Council Meeting.
