By Franca Joseph (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – The Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, stated that the Federal Government was “concerned”, “thoughtful” and “sensitive” about the plight of Nigerian youths and was working towards helping them.
Osinbajo said this during a press conference in Abuja, where he disclosed that the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration was putting structures on ground to help Nigerian youths optimize their talents and contribute constructively to national development.
The VP called on Nigerian youths to give the Buhari administration room to build a nation they would be proud of, as efforts were already being made to accommodate their requests within available resources.
Excerpts of his statement read: “What young people need to know is that this government is thoughtful, sensitive and concerned about them,” he said.
“We intend to do the very best that we can given the resources that we have. The youths must also see that we were very quick to respond to make amends where we see that things may not be exactly right.”
