COVID-19 BRIEFS: Nigeria Records 164 More Cases, Total Confirmed Cases Now 60, 430


(AGENDAWATCHDOG) – Nigeria has recorded 164 more COVID-19 cases,  according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in its latest update on the disease, taking total confirmed cases to 60, 430.

Breakdown of the fresh cases of COVID-19 in the country, according to NCDC, which are spread across 14 states of the federation, incuding the FCT, is as follows: Lagos- 64, FCT-26, Enugu – 20, Kaduna and Oyo – 11, Plateau – 8, Ondo – 7, Anambra – 4, Nasarawa and Osun – 3, Ebonyi and Imo – 2, Benue, Katsina and Ogun – 1.

Out of the total confirmed 60,430 cases of COVID-19 in the country, 51,943 persons have been successfully treated and discharged, while 1,115 fatalities have been recorded since the outbreak of he pandemic.
