WTO Job: Okonjo-Iweala Calls On Buhari In Abuja

By Lucky Uwakina (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – Former Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister for the Economy, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, paid a visit to President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

Dr Iweala, who is in the final lap of election for the position of the Director General of the World Trade Organization (WTO), was accompanied to the villa by the Chief of Staff to the President,  Ibrahim Gambari, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Niyi Adebayo and the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Zubair Dada.

The former Finance Minister, who has been endorsed by President Muhammadu Buhari, is slugging it out for the WTO diadem with Korea’s Yoo Myung-hee.
