COVID-19 BRIEFS: Nigeria Records 103 New Cases, Taking Total Confirmed cases to 59, 841


(AGENDAWATCHDOG) – Nigeria recorded 103 fresh cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, October 8, 2020, taking total confirmed cases of the disease in Nigeria to 59, 841, according to the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

Breakdown of the fresh cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria is as follows: Lagos-39 Rivers-21 FCT-19 Oyo-6 Kaduna-4 Bauchi-3 Ogun-3 Imo-2 Kano-2 Benue-1 Edo-1 Nasarawa-1 Plateau-1.

Out of the 59,841 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria, 51,551 have been treated and discharged, while 1,113 deaths have been recorded since the outbreak of the pandemic.
