COVID-19 BRIEFS: Nigeria Records 58 New Cases, Taking Total Confirmed Cases To 59, 345 – NCDC


(AGENDAWATCHDOG) – Nigeria recorded 59 fresh cases of COVID-19 infection on Sunday, October 4, 2020, according to the Nigerian Centre For Disease Control (NCDC) in its latest update on the virus, taking total confirmed cases of the virus in Nigeria to 59, 345.

Breakdown of the fresh cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria, which is spread across 9 states of the federation, including the FCT, is as follows:  Plateau-18 Lagos-15 Katsina-10 Ogun-5 Kaduna-4 Edo-3 Ekiti-1 FCT-1 Ondo-1

Out of the 59,345 confirmed cases of the virus, 50,768 have been treated and discharged, while 1,113 deaths have been recorded so far, according to the NCDC.
