#RevolutionNow#: Police, Protesters Face-off As Protests Holds Across Nigeria

By Olivia Isibor (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – There were reported confrontations between the Police and members of the #RevolutionNow Movement on Thursday following a nationwide protest staged by the group.

The pressure group staged series of protests across the country, including the Federal Capital Territory where they went to the United States Embassy to express their angst at the state of insecurity in the country and the dire economic conditions facing Nigerians, demanding for the resignation of the President Muhammadu Buhari.

Joining the protest in Abuja were #BringBackOurGirls activist, Aisha Yesufu, Ariyo Dare-Atoye, Henry Shield, Adebayo Raphael, Deji Adeyanju of Concerned Nigerians, among others, who accused the Buhari-led government of having failed to redeem its promises to Nigerians.
