I Never Suggested That Nigeria Will Break Up – SGF, Boss Mustapha Recants

By Franca Joseph (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha has sought to clear the air on suggestions that he had said that Nigeria will break up due to cracks in the country.

Reacting via a personally signed statement, Mustapha denied suggesting that Nigeria will break up, stating that the President Muhammadu Buhari-led government was committed to One Nigeria.

A NAN report had quoted Mustapaha, who stood in for Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo at Nigeria’s 60th Independence Anniversary Service in Abuja, as saying that the Nigerian edifice had cracks that could lead to its collapse, if certain germane issues were not properly addressed, calling on all to seek the face of God to address the divisive issues threatening the continued unity of Nigerians and the future of the country.
