COVID-19 BRIEFS: Nigeria Records126 New Cases, Total Cases Now 58, 324

(AGENDAWATCHDOG) – Nigeria on Sunday recorded 126 new cases of COVID-19, which takes total confirmed cases of the virus to 58, 324, according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in its latest data on COVID-19.

Breakdown of the new cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria, which are spread across eleven states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), is as follows: FCT– 30, Lagos-24, Rivers-23, Ogun-13, Katsina –9, Plateau –9, Ondo –6, Kaduna –4, Kwara –4, Imo –2, Bauchi –1, and  Edo –1.

Out of the total 58, 324 cases of COVID-19 so far recorded in Nigeria, 49, 794 have been successfully treated and discharged, while 1,108 fatalities have been recorded since the outbreak of the pandemic.
