“It Will Be Unfair To Return To The APC” – Obaseki Reiterates Loyalty To The PDP

By Olivia Isibor (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – The Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, has debunked insinuations in some quarters that he planned returning to his former party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), after being returned to a second four-year term as Edo State Governor on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

Speaking, while on a visit to President Mohammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, the country’s capital, following his commanding success at the recently held Governorship Election in Edo State, Obaseki said it would not be right for him to dump the party that gave him the ticket with which he won reelection for one that denied him one.

Obaseki was in company of his Deputy Philip Shaibu and some members of his cabinet during the visit to the nation’s seat of power.
