COVID-19 BRIEFS: Nigeria Records 195 New Cases, Taking Total Confirmed Cases To 57, 437


(AGENDAWATCHDOG) – Nigeria has recorded 195 fresh cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), which disclosed this on its latest update on Monday night, total confirmed cases of the virus so far to 57, 437.

Breakdown of the new cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria, which are spread across eleven states of the federation, including Abuja, the FCT, is as follows: Lagos-39, FCT-15, Enugu – 51, Gombe – 40, Plateau – 23, Rivers – 12, Kaduna –8, Ondo – 3, Bauchi – 2, Edo-1, and Ogun-1.

Out of the 57, 437 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria, 48,674 cases have been successfully treated and discharged, while over 1,000 fatalities have been recorded since the outbreak of the pandemic.
