Edo Election: APC Was Expected To Win, I’m Stunned By The Result – El-Rufai

By Lucky Uwakina (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai on Monday expressed shock that the All Progressive Congress (APC) lost the recently concluded Edo State Governorship Election.

According to the Governor, the polls, three weeks ago, had indicated a likely APC victory at the poll.

On Sunday, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) returned incumbent Godwin Obaseki of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) as the Governor of Edo State following his victory at the September 19, 2020 election in the state.
