COVID-19 BRIEFS: Nigeria Records 97 New Cases, Total Confirmed Cases Now 57, 242

(AGENDAWATCHDOG) – Nigeria has recorded 97 new cases of the COVID-19, according to the Nigerian Centre For Disease Control (NCDC), which made this known via its verified twitter handle late on Sunday night

Breakdown of the fresh COVID-19 cases in Nigeria, which are spread across eleven states of the federation, is as follows:Lagos-46, Kwara-12, Rivers-11, Adamawa-4, Niger-3, Ogun-3, Osun-3, Ekiti-3, Imo-2, Kaduna-2, Plateau-2 and FCT-1.

Out of the 57, 242 total confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria, 48,569 have been successfully treated and discharged, while 1,098 fatalities have been recorded since the outbreak of the pandemic.
