COVID-19 BRIEFS: Nigeria Records 126 New Cases, Bringing Total Confirmed Cases To 56, 604

By Olivia Isibor (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – Nigeria has recorded 126  new cases of the Coronavirus, according to the Nigeria Center for Disease  Control (NCDC), which disclosed this on Wednesday via its official Twitter handle.

Breakdown of the fresh COVID-19 cases in Nigeria is as follows: Abuja-37, Lagos-27, Plateau, Kaduna- 9 in Kaduna, Abia-7, Gombe-6, Ondo-6,Imo-5, Delta-2, Ekiti-2, Kwara-2,  Bauchi-1, Katsina-1, Kano-1 and Yobe-1.

Out of the 56,604 confirmed cases of COVID-19 infections in Nigeria, 47,872 have been successfully treated and discharged, while 1,091 fatalities have been so far recorded in the country since the outbreak of the pandemic.
