COVID-19 BRIEFS: Nigeria Records 90 New Cases, Total Cases Now 56, 478

By Olivia Isibor (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – Nigeria on Tuesday recorded 90 new cases of the novel coronavirus, according the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in its latest update.

Breakdown of the 90 new cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria, according to the NCDC, which are spread across eight states of the federation, including Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), is as follows: Lagos-33, Plateau-27, Kaduna-17, Ogun-6, FCT- 4, Anambra -1, Ekiti-1, and Nasarawa-1.

Out of the country’s total caseload of 56,478, a total of 44,430 cases have been successfully treated and discharged, while 1,088 fatalities have been recorded so far.
