Edo Guber Poll: Wike, Tambuwal, Makinde Others Storm Benin


By Olivia Isibor (AGENDAWATCHDOG) –  Ahead the September 19, 2020 gubernatorial poll in Edo State, top leaders of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), including its National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus, Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike; Sokoto State Governor Aminu Tambuwal; Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, among others have stormed Benin City, the Edo State capital to put finishing touches to Governor Godwin Obaseki’s campaign.

At the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City, where the party held its mega rally, PDP spokesman, Kola Ologbondiyan expressed satisfaction at the wide support for Obaseki.

Also present at the rally were, PDP’s Vice Presidential candidate at the 2019 poll, Peter Obi, Akwa Ibom State Governor Udom Emmanuel; former Imo State Governor Emeka Ihedioha; Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa; Raymond Dopkepsi, among others, who all urged the electorate to vote massively for Obaseki on September 19.
