Edo Guber Poll: Oshiomhole Will Be Politically Dead By The Time We Are Finished With Him – Obaseki

By Olivia Isibor (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – The Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, on Saturday, during the People’s Democratic Party’s (PDP) campaign in Oredo Local Government, promised to bury his predecessor, Adams Oshiomhole politically by emerging victorious at the September 19, 2020 governorship election in the state.

According to Obaseki, the September 19 poll will be between him and Oshiomhole, who he said had insulted Edo people by trying to handpick members of the State House of Assembly.

The governor promised that having dealt with his predecessor at the national level, he would be buried politically at the poll come September 19, 2020.

Obaseki, who was once Oshiomhole’s protégé, is at daggers drawn with his former boss going into the September poll, with the former having exited the All Progressives Congress, the platform on which he won his first term as Governor in 2016, to the PDP, while the later has endorsed the APC’s candidate, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, as the party’s banner bearer.
