By Olivia Isibor (AGENDAWATCHDOG) – The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Edo State, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, has assured that there would be no violence during the forthcoming September 19, 2020, Gubernatorial poll in the state.
Ize-Iyamu said this during a peace meeting at the palace of Oba Ewuare II, in Benin, on Wednesday, adding that the election would not be a do-or-de affair, as was being predicted by some people
The APC’s flag bearer further intoned that the election was a family election, promising that his supporters would be warned against engaging in any form of violence .
Ize-Iyamu promised to abide by the advice of the Oba of Benin by ensuring that the election was violence free, adding that he was going to shake or embrace His Excellency, Governor Obaseki, who he said was his serious brother.
